Outpatient psychotherapy with emphasis on issues ranging from depression, anxiety, grief and loss, marital issues and executive and phase of life transitions.  

Mequon Clinical Associates, Mequon, WI

Provided psychotherapy at Mequon Clinical Associates to a child, adolescent and adult population. Areas of interest and specialty included behavioral and marital issues, family counseling, anxiety, survivors of trauma and life transitions.  

Zablocki V.A. Hospital, Milwaukee, WI

Provided individual and group therapy to veterans with dual diagnosis, as well as those with other Axis I and II diagnoses.  Supported veterans who, in addition to mental health and substance abuse problems, presented with histories of limited social and familial support as well as an array of trauma related issues.

Performed leadership role in facilitation of marketing and outreach and creation of outpatient psychotherapy services for adolescents, adults, couples and families. 

Clinic Director at Mequon Clinical Associates, Mequon, WI

Expanded programming and increased caseloads and revenue through development of multidisciplinary collaborations within clinical team and outreach and marketing. Responsible for improved documentation standards and clinic oversight.

Regional Director, Western Youth Services, Anaheim, CA

Provided leadership and support for clinical team for outpatient child and adolescent mental health clinic consisting of Master's level clinicians and supervisors, psychiatrists and student interns.  Responsibilities included oversight of school based programming and community based family resource center.

Director of Residential Services, David and Margaret Home, LaVerne, CA

Lead comprehensive residential programming and clinical treatment for 12 - 18 year old adolescent females. Youth presented with histories, such as, but not limited to familial conflict, separation/loss, physical and sexual trauma, abuse, neglect and use of illegal substances.

Program Director, Project Fatherhood, Los Angeles, CA

Provided group and individual therapy, as well as social and judicial advocacy for fathers and their children. Worked towards strengthening father-child bond as an integral part of improving child mental health, reunification and facilitating positive outcomes.

Author of the award winning children's book, No Bad News.  Honored as the Marion Ridgeway Vannett Award for Best Debut in Children's Literature, this book tells the story of a child's journey through his neighborhood by himself.  Its message of resilience, courage and how our perceptions shape our reality continues to resonate with and inspire children and adults alike.
